RINOs and Democrats: A United Front Against Trump

While many focus on the Democrats as the culprits behind America’s decline, Republicans in Name Only (RINOs) are equally to blame. These so-called conservatives betray their base and contribute to the very disunity that weakens the nation.

Leading the charge against President Donald Trump is former President George W. Bush. Bush, who previously likened January 6 protesters to terrorists, has notably stayed silent this election cycle. When asked if he plans to endorse any candidate for the upcoming election, his office responded with a simple “No.” His representative further clarified, “President Bush retired from presidential politics years ago.” The reluctance to step into this political arena is a clear sign that Trump’s growing support is too daunting to challenge.

Bush isn’t the only one in retreat—his former Vice President, Dick Cheney, is more vocal but just as out of touch. Cheney, in a surprising twist, has openly sided with the Democrats, declaring that no individual poses a greater threat to the republic than Donald Trump. Cheney claimed, “He tried to steal the last election using lies and violence to keep himself in power after the voters had rejected him. He can never be trusted with power again.”

The blatant fear-mongering pushed by Cheney and other establishment Republicans has long lost its impact. Rather than weakening Trump’s influence, their attacks have only fueled his rise within the party. Both Bush and Cheney are viewed by many Trump supporters as relics of a bygone era, desperately clinging to relevance while refusing to embrace the new direction of the GOP.

President Trump wasted no time firing back at Cheney’s comments. Taking to Truth Social, Trump lambasted Cheney, labeling him an “irrelevant RINO,” and called out his daughter Liz Cheney, who suffered a historic defeat in her reelection bid. Trump also reminded supporters of his pardon for Scooter Libby, a former Cheney aide, saying, “They couldn’t get Scooter Libby, who did so much for them, PARDONED. I did it!”

Trump didn’t stop there, slamming Cheney as the “King of Endless, Nonsensical Wars,” and contrasted Cheney’s warmongering with his own record as the “Peace President.” Trump made it clear: “Only I will stop World War III!”

In his blistering critique, Trump also brought attention to Liz Cheney’s role on the January 6 committee, accusing her and others of destroying evidence that allegedly proved Nancy Pelosi was responsible for security failures that day. “Cheney and the others should be prosecuted for what they did, but Comrade Kamala is even worse!” Trump declared, taking aim at Vice President Kamala Harris as well.

The RINOs, led by figures like Bush and Cheney, have aligned themselves with the Democrats, proving they are more interested in preserving their own power than in representing their voters. X (formerly Twitter) users chimed in, further condemning the establishment politicians. One user, @SteveLovesAmmo, highlighted the hypocrisy of those who’ve held power for decades: “George Bush, Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and Kamala Harris have held power for 28 out of the last 32 years. Yet, all five of them are blaming Trump. You can’t make this stuff up.”

Another user, Resist the GOP Traitors, pointed out Bush’s selective involvement in politics, writing, “#GeorgeBush was not only a horrible POTUS he was/is a coward. He can say all he wants that he’s retired from politics but he comes out when it’s convenient to him.”

The takeaway is clear: RINOs and Democrats are two sides of the same coin, working together to maintain the status quo. But with Trump’s unwavering base and relentless push for change, their tactics may no longer hold the sway they once did. The Republican Party’s future lies with its voters, not with the outdated establishment.
