Georgia Activist Michaelah Montgomery Stuns Trump Rally with Powerful Message, Takes Aim at Kamala Harris
In a surprising turn of events at GOP nominee Donald Trump’s rally in Atlanta, Georgia, conservative activist Michaelah Montgomery stole the spotlight, leaving the crowd at the Georgia State University Convocation Center both inspired and speechless. The rally, held on Saturday, saw Montgomery, a recent graduate of Clark Atlanta University, boldly take the stage after being introduced by Trump himself.
Trump, who had met Montgomery earlier this year at a restaurant, spoke highly of her before inviting her to speak. “She looks at me, says, ‘It’s President Trump. You saved my college.’ And I said, ‘How the hell do you know that?’… This one is so smart, so sharp,” Trump recalled. The former president even joked about Montgomery’s warm greeting, saying, “She grabbed me. She gave me a kiss. I said, ‘I think I’m never going back home to the first lady.'”
Montgomery responded with humor, “You were supposed to keep that quiet,” eliciting laughter from the audience. Trump continued to praise her, describing her as “incredible” with a “tremendous future,” and pledged to support her in any way he could.
When Montgomery took the microphone, she delivered a powerful and passionate speech that resonated deeply with the crowd. “I do want to add on to some of the remarks that were made by others,” Montgomery began. “And we do need to do our best to get the message out there. The fight is nothing if all we do is talk about it amongst ourselves.”
As the founder of the group Conserve the Culture, Montgomery explained her mission to mobilize HBCU students and spread conservative values. “Nobody needs this message more than my folks, so do y’all care for real?” she challenged the crowd. “Are y’all with us for real? Ima give it back to Big T.”
Montgomery’s bold stance and call to action were met with enthusiastic applause, cementing her presence as a rising star in the conservative movement.
The rally took place just days after controversy erupted over remarks made by Trump at the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) convention regarding Vice President Kamala Harris’ racial identity. Trump questioned Harris’s identification as Black, stating, “She was always of Indian heritage, and she was only promoting Indian heritage… Now she wants to be known as Black. So, I don’t know, is she Indian or is she Black?”
Fox News anchor Harris Faulkner commended Trump for facing the challenging environment at the NABJ convention, where he endured tough questions. During a “Fox & Friends” appearance, Faulkner noted, “We were able to, at some points, the former president and I, have a conversation… We had an opportunity to talk with a president who walked into a racial storm yesterday.”
The rally in Atlanta highlighted the ongoing political tensions surrounding issues of race and identity, with Montgomery’s appearance adding a new dimension to the conversation. As Trump continues his campaign, voices like Montgomery’s are likely to play a significant role in shaping the discourse moving forward.
